Next the locomotive reflexes would include crawling reflex, stepping reflex, crawling reflex, and walking with chip in support. Finally we would observe their spontaneous movements like their arm waving with and without an object, rocking on their hands and knees, finger flexing, hand banging on a surface, and leg kicking. The subjects that would perform these assessments would need to be their parents while I would be in the background taking notes. I would use their parents as the infants would be more comfortable with someone they interact with on a regular basis.
The plan for performing this assessment would be the infants own home and the infants would need to be six months old, born untimely, virile and female, and they should not have an medical conditions caused from birth that are noticeable. I would include 25 male infants and 25 female infants for my assessment. I would also include the same requirements for infants that were not born prematurely and were born at full term.
