All during amply school deal told me to make good grades and get a scholarship for college. I achieved half of that goal. I made pretty good grades and concept I would be fine in college. I in brief learnt that those grades were not good enough. I didnt earn any scholarships, besides the Pell grant and a monthly study from the old geezers Affairs Office. The monthly check is a financial support to pay for any college expense that I may sacrifice. This is barely because my grandfather passed away in March of 2010. His death was army service related and because of that I receive a check from the V.A. It had nothing to do with the grades I made in high school and it was not anything that I earned.
A few months in the lead school was to start, I found out I was pensionable for the V.A. benefits. This included all the money I needed for tuition, books, and a dorm; all my worries were gone right? Not scarce nevertheless a few months after school had started I found out I could not receive the benefits until my eighteenth birthday in January 2013.
Now I am before long making monthly payments on my tuition fees. The biggest advice I could suffer anyone is to earn a scholarship, it is the easiest way to pay for college and to not have that worry over your head.
The second greatest challenge I have faced is getting the work done. I just cannot get motivated to get anything done. Procrastination is my worst enemy. I am always putting everything off and wanting to decrease out with my friends before I get my work done. I will log onto the computer to work on some homework and often catch myself logging into Facebook instead. That is a authentically bad habit to get into when starting out in college.
