Final Film Critique
What in itself makes a no nonsense film into a hit or that major motion picture into a flop? chiding is what determines this form of success or failure. Every person has an intellection on a film they enjoy or nauseate but what actually goes into this process is something contrastive for an everyday caramel brown compared to a professional film critique. There are lodge major steps within this profession and will hit each one as I critique the moving-picture show manpower of Honor.
Every movie must take hold some written report; its what drives the audience to walk-in and by this movie ticket. Storytelling makes up a good bulk to each good critique. Some basic questions would include: Is the plot in chronological order or a non-linear form? For my film, it follows a much needed chronological order. Where does the baloney take base? This question is highly simple but utterly strategic to a film. It will establish a base for the pertinacity of all the actions to take place. Within Men of Honor the story takes place in the U.S. navy over the course of this story.
Men of Honor is based on the true life story of Carl Brashear, the first African-American Navy Diver.



The film chronicles Brashears exertion against seemingly insurmountable obstacles. The setting of his journey is the little know and dangerous world of deep-sea diving in the U.S. Navy of the 1950s and 60s. As a diver, Brashears universe was a 300 feet underwater, where he breathed a mixture of gasses, attached to the surface by a fragile hose.
Another plowshare defines if there is conflict, what is it, and how does it become resolved. There are two different types of conflicts that aim prevalent in this film. The main character Carl Brashear struggles with interpersonal aspects in his life. He must first overcome the occurrence that he only has an 8th grade education.
