The issue of assure and church building has caused great debate everywhere hundreds of years. Our founding fathers went to many lengths to ensure our freedoms. Where as Communist countries everything belongs to the state and the individual owns nothing. Communism enslaves an individual and takes away their freedoms. There is no freedom of religion and those who seek to worship God and take aim the Bible are often persecuted, sent to concentration camps or even murdered.

Jefferson used the controversial metaphor in responding to the Danbury Baptist Association, a Baptist religious group in Connecticut that mailed a letter to him in 1801, congratulating him on his recent election to property and praising him for his views on religious freedom.



The letter was written to expound his understanding of the meaning of the religion clauses of the First Amendment, and his views on the constitution regarding the relationship between church and state
