As of myself, I pick McDonalds everywhere Chick-Fil-A because I go to McDonalds more than than I go to Chick-Fil-A and I believe it is better overall. Both franchises have their pros and cons, so I will compare them to inform you on the differences of the two and why McDonalds is the better choice. The three main points I will compare the restaurants by is the fan base, the choices, the taste, and the prices.

First off, McDonalds has more register and a much longer track-record than Chick-Fil-A does. McDonalds was founded in 1948, while Chick-Fil-A was founded in the early 1960s. After being founded McDonalds quickly became famous for their 15 cent hamburgers. In seventeen years, McDonalds had 700 stores nationwide. To date, Chick-Fil-A has only 1,400 stores in 40 states. Since 1983, McDonalds, on average opens three stores a day and either year, each store grosses well-nigh $1.7 million. Since the 1990s, their profits have tripled to about $1.1 billion on revenues of $7.4 billion.



System wide, they have had sales of over $23 billion and over 33,000 stores globally. Chick-Fil-A will never be in the same ballpark as McDonalds with these numbers. McDonalds also has more customers than Chick-Fil-A and arguably, it is preferred over Chick-Fil-A.

When it comes to the food, McDonalds is superior. Chick-Fil-As chicken sandwiches may be healthier but McDonalds food overall is better. The only social function that Chick-Fil-A has to proffer is chicken, chicken, and more chicken. At Mickey Ds, they offer chicken, burgers, salads, and even fish sandwiches.
