Islam was officially formed in Arabia in the early seventeenth century. Before the Islamic religion was created, at that place was the Sabian religion. The Sabian religion was embodied of a cult that believed in the Holy Trinity. Jews and Christians tried to transform the Meccans but the effort was ineffective because of the Meccans desire to create their own religion. Problems had arisen among the rich and the poor in an Arab Meccan society, which was part of the emergence of Islam.
A prophet named Muhammad led a group of his chase (which consisted of both the rich and the poor) to Medina. The emigration was a beginning to Muhammads spread of the Islamic religion. Muhammad purpose for going to Medina to broaden the religion was because Mecca had denied him. In Medina, he had established laws and well-disposed institutions. The result of his firm work and the exercise of his religion in Medina caused confrontation between the Muslims and the Meccans. The victory of the Muslims led to the conversion of the Meccans religion to Islam. Mecca was made the position for annual pilgrimage and the direction for prayer.




After Muhammads death, there was an increase in the conversion of non-Muslims to Islam across the world with the inspection and repair of jihad. Jihad means supporting and spreading Islam. Muslims made their musical mode to North America in great numbers. In the joined States an African American by the name of Elijah Muhammad was inspired by the Islam teachings and founded a group called the Nation of Islam. Elijahs movement had influenced African-American Muslim groups and helped spread Islam. In order for Islam to be authorized some type of support was necessary.
