When asked to write my philosophy of education down on paper, I began thinking how difficult it is to tell someone my aim beliefs because I noticed such a variation in them. There are many things that factor into my philosophy, but throughout life, with new experiences come new beliefs. I have, however, compiled my beliefs about educational activity and go steadying, learners, knowledge, and what is worth knowing. These are the beliefs that have shaped me thus far as a student and through my experiences in workings in an elementary school. I am sure my beliefs testament continue to change and shape my values in my jaunt of becoming a teacher.
There are several factors that presume my belief about teaching and learning. First of all, I study a teacher should be a facilitator in the classroom. He or she should drive the students in their activities, but not excessively closely so that they will be fitted to learn and make mistakes on their own. I believe students learn so much better this way because the information is not cut into their heads and they are able to think and process the information on their own. Therefore, the learning is not rote, but processed within the students own mind.



The teacher should simply be the guide on the side, kind of like a coach. Teachers should develop a personal and condole with relationship with each student individually. By doing this, he or she will be better able to meet each of their look ats. Although teachers must plan their lessons, I do not believe that the learning process itself can be planned or rehearsed. Each individual student learns and processes differently, and at different paces. The teacher should also be a caring and nurturing person. For examples, teachers should let the students know that he or she believes in them. Children need to be encouraged to do their best.
