Abstract
This paper will discuss the Cultural dimensions of Turkish. Turkey is a dry land that is located amid the two countries of Asia and atomic number 63. Because of the location of the province of matter it is even more important to understand its cultural dimensions in an effort to be successful. This paper will specialally language those major elements of the country, and provide illustrations to what is acceptable behavior within this unequaled country. It will also explain how the cultural dimensions are structured by locals conducting business. It will also address how Turkeys business culture and the US compare. It will finally soon describe and analyze the implications that the US must understand and deliberate in redact to conduct business in the region.
Introduction
Turkey is a peninsula that uniquely, straddles 2 continents. Located in southeastern Europe and southwestern Asia, 97 percent of its area occupies Anatolia, the peninsula of that land lies between the Black Sea on the northern coast of the country, and the Mediterranean to the south, where the continents of Asia and Europe meet (Encyclopedia of Nations, 2002). Turkey is a new country in an old land.
The new modern Turkish state began with the creation of the Republic of Turkey. The term turkey although sometimes utilize to signify the Ottoman Empire, was not assigned to a specific political entity or geographic area until the republic was founded in 1923(Turkey is a, 1995).
