Adolf Hitler Adolf Hitler was dictator of Germany during human race War II. He united Germany, and was a great leader. Hitler made many accomplishments during his life. Adolf wrote a book at a very young age, became the leader of the Nazi Party, and died a tragic death. Adolf Hitler was born on April 20, 1889, in Braunau, Austria. He was the one-quarter child of Alois Hitler, a customs official. Alois Hitler was fifty- one old age superannuated when Adolf was born, and Klara, Adolfs mother was twenty- eight years old. Two of Adolfs siblings died from diphtheria when they were children, and the other died shortly after birth. About six years after Adolf was born, his father retired and moved near Linz, Austria. Adolf received advanced grades in elementary school, but received poor tag in high school (2001). His poor grades angered his father, because Alois cute his son to have a career as a civil servant, even though Adolf wanted to be an artist. Adolfs father died in 1903, and Adolf left school two and a half years later at the age of sixteen. He did not have to go to work, so he spent his time daydreaming, drawing pictures, and reading books (2001). On November 8, 1923, at a rally in Munch Beer Hall, Hitler proclaimed a Nazi revolution.

The next day, he tried to seize the government in what became known as the Beer Hall Puntsh. Hitler, supported by the German General Erich F. W. Ludendorff, that led the over two thousand behave troopers on a march against the Bavarian government, but republic police opened fire and stopped the procession, killing sixteen marchers (2001). Hitler was arrested and sentenced to five years in prison. While he was in prison, Hitler began writing a book, Mein Kampf (My Struggle).
