Extra sensory perception is perception that is not mediate by an organisms recognized sensory organs.1 It includes telepathy, clairvoyance, precognition and psychokinesis. The later is known as the ability to tinge physical objects without the use of the body, that is, by simply thinking slightly them. It is a psi phenomenon allegedly possessed by umteen entertainers; the most famous of which is Uri Geller. One study of over 1400 American adults found that 67 percent had experienced extrasensory perception on at least one occasion during their life.2An even greater number, approximately 75 percent, claim to believe that ESP exists.3 These argon alarming figures when time after time unbelievers and contrasting associations such as the Parapsychological Association and CSICOP, or The Committee for the scientific Investigation of Claims of the Paranormal, have provided plenty of evidence from research conducted following the scientific method proving ESP to be nothing only a hoax.4 They have produced proof that many well-established, prestigious experiments proving ESP to be real have been fudged or subject to faint controls.5 So what exactly are the explanations to PK, more specifically to advert and spoon bending?
