Subconsciously we do pay attention to these ads. We absorb everything. They tell us who we ar and who we should be. They tell us that whats most important about women is how we look. We spend money and go through and through pain try to attain this idea of beauty. Even when its impossible, we go through extreme measure such as plastic mathematical operation to achieve all these. And all these affect our self wonderment and the way men envision what a real cleaning woman is.
Rosalind Coward tells us in her reading that the cultural ideal of a perfect female body would be between 5 foot 5 and 5 foot 8, long legged, convert and vigorous looking, but above all, without a spare butt against of flesh, meaning very skinny.
